Placement of the Horizon

The placement of the horizon can have a big impact on the image.   Moving the horizon to the bottom shifts the sky to the forefront.  This is often used in pictures of sunrises and sunsets.  Moving the horizon to the top places the object in the forefront.  This is often used if the sky is cloudy or gray.  The two photos below are quite similar but the placement of the horizon line is different.  What do you notice?
